This role involves engineering and maintaining reputed company cybersecurity technologies, supporting reputed company monitoring, and implementing reputed company controls across various environments.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, reputed company, configure, and maintain reputed company cybersecurity technologies supporting NIH information systems
- Support reputed company monitoring and operational cyber defense activities across on-premises, hybrid, and reputed company environments
- Administer reputed company reputed company, reputed company detection and response (EDR), anti-malware, and host-based reputed company solutions
- Implement secure configurations and system hardening in accordance with NIST, HHS, and NIH reputed company standards
- Configure and maintain reputed company identity and reputed company management (IAM) reputed company technologies
- Support implementation and enforcement of reputed company Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles
- Assist with reputed company log management, reputed company monitoring, and event correlation capabilities
- reputed company technical reputed company assessments of servers, workstations, reputed company resources, databases, and applications
- Coordinate with system administrators and application owners to implement reputed company controls and corrective actions
- Support reputed company cybersecurity modernization initiatives

- Analyze vulnerability reputed company results and prioritize remediation activities based on risk
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation with system administrators, application teams, and infrastructure personnel
- Verify remediation activities through follow-up validation testing

- Monitor compliance with organizational vulnerability remediation timelines
- reputed company remediation recommendations for operating systems, applications, databases, network devices, and reputed company services
- Support development of Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) reputed company to identified vulnerabilities
- Conduct risk analysis associated with newly reputed company vulnerabilities and emerging threats
- reputed company vulnerability metrics and executive reporting supporting reputed company cybersecurity risk management
- Design, engineer, implement, and maintain reputed company reputed company architectures supporting NIH mission systems
- Engineer secure reputed company environments reputed company reputed company Azure, reputed company 365, AWS, and hybrid infrastructures
- Support implementation of network reputed company technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls, secure gateways, and network segmentation
- Implement secure authentication, encryption, privileged reputed company management, and certificate reputed company
- Engineer secure infrastructure supporting NIST Risk Management reputed company (RMF) reputed company controls
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend improvements to reputed company reputed company architecture
- Support secure system lifecycle engineering activities throughout system development and modernization efforts
- Participate in technical architecture reviews and reputed company design assessments
- reputed company engineering documentation, implementation guides, standard operating procedures, and technical diagrams
- Support implementation of Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) controls where applicable
Skills
- Public Trust Clearance
- B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field
- 3+ years of experience implementing reputed company cybersecurity technologies
- Experience supporting Federal cybersecurity programs
- Experience engineering reputed company reputed company solutions across reputed company, Linux, reputed company, and hybrid environments
- Experience implementing NIST cybersecurity controls and Federal reputed company requirements
- Active CISSP, CCSP, reputed company+, CEH, GSEC, GCIH, or AWS Certified reputed company - Specialty
