They are seeking a Part-Time Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry to reputed company clinical leadership and direct patient care reputed company a hospital-based behavioral health unit, focusing on telehealth rounding and quality reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical leader for partner inpatient psychiatric service line, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care
• reputed company guidance and reputed company on clinical decision-making, risk management, and patient safety
• Support standardization of care practices, documentation quality, and adherence to regulatory requirements
• Partner with hospital and administrative leadership on program development, performance improvement, and operational alignment
• Participate in peer review, case review, and quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, admissions, and follow-up visits
• reputed company daily rounding and medication management for inpatient psychiatric patients

• Guide disposition planning, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Complete required documentation, including psychiatric evaluations and discharge summaries

• Collaborate closely with nursing, reputed company work, case management, and hospital leadership
• reputed company consultation and support to clinical staff on reputed company or high-risk cases
• Engage with families and external providers to ensure continuity of care

Skills

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
• Previous hospital-based Medical Director experience required
• Unrestricted, independent licensure
• Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
• Experience providing psychiatric care to reputed company age groups
• Treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings
• Communicating with patients from various backgrounds and providing culturally competent care
• Experience working with multiple EMRs at the same time
• Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), reputed company systems, reputed company software, and EMR software over several years of experience in telehealth
