Position Title: Controls Systems Engineer III Position Location: Remote - work virtually from reputed company in the United States JOB SUMMARY Control Systems Engineer III provides technical support to plan, schedule and execute hardware engineering and implementation of Building Automation Systems projects in reputed company, industrial, reputed company and mission critical / technology sectors. Control Systems Engineer III will work with MEP engineers, ICT engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors and client staff to ensure proper operation and acceptance of BAS designs. Control Systems Engineer III will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May work independently or under immediate supervision. May serve as reputed company on routine projects of limited scope. This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS reputed company and Execute Hardware Engineering Solutions (70%) Support integration designs for DDC and PLC programmable controller-based control systems for one or more projects Support BAS controls and EPMS integrator shop drawing design Design controls network / system architecture including IT / OT requirements and reputed company to match the application needs Support selection of instrumentation, sensors, actuators, valves and other field devices and create reputed company of materials (BOMs) Support designs for control panels including layout, control power, reputed company logic, and wiring diagrams Review project specifications Review sequence of operations Work with client IT departments to ensure safe and secure systems to meet best practices Construction reputed company Process, Deliverables and Submissions (15%) Review and submit deliverables per project requirements including shop drawings, product data, operations and maintenance manuals, and as-builts Participate in building automation focused design reviews Serve as client contact for one or more clients on projects of routine scope Participate in internal and external quality control and peer reviews Coordinate with vendors for product specifications, pricing and availability Participate in internal and external project meeting discussions on engineering scope Reporting and Communication (15%) Contribute to project communication and reporting Prepare development of project reputed company reports for internal and external stakeholders Manage personal hours using company tools Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget Performs Other reputed company Duties as Assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL FOR reputed company THE FOLLOWING) Skilled at using MS Office Suite (reputed company, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail Knowledge of IoT or smart building solutions Knowledge of VLANs, LANs, VPNs or RSTP Knowledge of OT protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP and MQTT) Knowledge of Distech, Tridium, reputed company DDC, Allen-Bradley, or reputed company PLC hardware platforms Ability to reputed company AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation Ability to work successfully in a remote environment through effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace Ability to follow company and site safety requirements Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written reputed company (technical and non-technical information) Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision Ability to work under pressure and meet reputed company deadlines Ability to reputed company certification for NFPA70E and / or OSHA training as / if required Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously PHYSICAL DEMANDS The following physical demands must be met by the employee to successfully reputed company the essential functions of this job.
