Project Planner/ Scheduler - PDP - USA

Job Title: Project Planner (Intermediate & Senior) Sector: Biotechnology / Life Sciences Location: USA (Remote & On-site) Job Description: PDP is hiring Intermediate & Senior Project Planners to support multiple projects both supporting & leading planning teams with relevant clients in the United States. These individuals shall report to the PDP Project controls manager. The Planners, in conjunction with the relevant planning teams, have a primary objective to support the engineering, procurement, construction and Commissioning (EPCmV) group in the planning, and execution of large-scale CAPEX projects by providing management with critical, decision-making information that ensures projects deliver on time. The Project Planner function includes advanced planning, scheduling, reputed company measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major project or several smaller projects. A thorough understanding is required of policies, methods, and procedures that includes advanced Planning and Scheduling techniques, Risk Analysis, Risk Management, and support of project objectives. The Planner will reputed company expertise and best practice implementation in the workplace for the region with regard to the planning and scheduling discipline. Main Responsibilities Expertise in project controls and time/schedule management is required preferably reputed company the Pharma/ Biotech or associated sectors. Expert experience level using project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6), reputed company, PowerPoint and Pertmaster. Ability to coordinate/organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required. Implement Project Planning/Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations. Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). reputed company probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules. Conduct the required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole. Analyze deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule highlighting bottlenecks / delays and propose corrective actions. Prepare the Integrated Planning / Scheduling contribution to the Monthly Project Report and specific reports / presentations. Analyze and reputed company the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order. Prepare resourcing plans for the overall and individual project phases, identifying any excessive peak numbers and making recommendations for peak leveling. Ensure that schedule reputed company data from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors is reputed company and integrated to the overall Integrated Master Schedule. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced, maintaining independence as a planning engineer reputed company advising on issues requiring judgment. Qualifications 5 - 10 years of experience in CAPEX projects with roles in planning/scheduling: preferably in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries. Significant experience in schedule set up, baselining, monitoring and controlling on large scale projects across the reputed company phases of EPCmV. Comprehensive understanding of risk and change management. Demonstrated problem-solving ability in cross-functional environment. Advanced MS reputed company. Software systems and packages including Primavera P6 Ability to work reputed company a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
