We haul year round... • *Job Summary:** We are seeking a Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials locally in a hopper bottom. Must be available to work weekends also! Three years experience with hoppers must be verified to be considered. • *Responsibilities:** - Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various locations - Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures - Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections - Adhere to traffic laws and regulations - Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of vehicles - Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise • *Experience:** - Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role - Familiarity with regional lanes and navigating local routes efficiently - Experience with flatbed, forklift, or heavy equipment operation is a plus - Knowledge of automotive repair basics is beneficial - Ability to drive various vehicles such as roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, or tankers This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
