We are looking for a dedicated Online Teacher for the Visually Impaired to provide essential educational support to students in North Dakota through virtual instruction. Key Responsibilities... Deliver engaging and effective virtual instruction tailored to students with visual impairments in a school setting. Create and implement individualized educational plans and accommodations to meet each student's unique needs. Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to align with students' learning goals. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student success. Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to track and support students' progress. Provide training and guidance to students, teachers, and caregivers on strategies to assist students with visual impairments.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or Special Education with a focus on visual impairments. Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, with eligibility to work in North Dakota. Proven experience working with students with visual impairments in an educational setting. Familiarity with assistive technology and resources for students with visual impairments. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A reliable internet connection and technology for effective virtual instruction.
