We are actively recruiting a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for our school, serving various schools in Lake and Cook County. Schedule: Part-Time, 2 days per week ? Caseload: Itinerant, serving students across multiple districts in Lake and Cook County You must have: ? Illinois TVI Certification: Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) with a TVI endorsement. ? Experience: Prior experience as a TVI preferred, especially in itinerant roles. Responsibilities: ? Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments. ? Collaborate with general and special education teachers to support student needs. ? Conduct functional vision assessments and develop IEP goals. ? Adapt instructional materials and technology for visually impaired students. Hourly Pay: $30 - $50, depending on experience.
