Online Special Education Teacher

Description In this role, you will create and implement personalized learning plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. You will facilitate engaging online classes and one-on-one sessions using virtual learning platforms, ensuring a dynamic and supportive learning environment... Your responsibilities will include modifying curriculum materials to accommodate individual student requirements, administering and interpreting educational assessments in a digital setting to monitor and support student progress, and collaborating closely with families, teachers, and support staff to promote student achievement. You will also maintain comprehensive records of student progress and interventions, participate in virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress, and address any concerns. Qualifications • Educational Background: Master's degree in Special Education. • Certification: Current state teaching license with a special education endorsement. • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in special education, preferably in an online teaching environment. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with assistive technology and digital learning tools. • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Engagement: Ability to inspire and engage students in a virtual learning environment. • Flexibility: Adaptable and responsive to the diverse needs of students.
