Job Description... Job Title: Dentist Duration : Through 2028 Work Location: Remote Pay rate: $85/hr on W2 without benefits Position Purpose Part time position. Estimated 20-25 hours per week with increases when covering for leave of other physicians. Dentist with unrestricted license to practice in the US. Must be physically located within the US. Will review prior authorization requests for dental services to determine medical necessity. All review and decisioning is performed via electronic review. Will be required to be available for peer-to-peer reviews that may be requested based on a negative action. May be required to participate in a Fair Hearing should a negative action be appealed to explain the medical review process and decision making. Supported by a Medical Director and a team of professionals doing similar work.
