Remote Medical Biller

Staffing Solutions by Global is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Remote Medical Biller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing medical billing and ensuring that healthcare providers receive accurate and timely payments. Your tasks will include verifying patient information, coding procedures and diagnoses, submitting claims to insurance companies, and... following up on any outstanding accounts. Responsibilities: • Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and government payers. • Review and verify patient information to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Code medical procedures and diagnoses using appropriate coding standards. • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to resolve issues and secure payment. • Maintain patient records and billing documentation in compliance with regulations. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies or questions regarding billing. Requirements: • Previous experience in medical billing or coding is required. • Certification in medical billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is preferred. • Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance processes, and billing regulations. • Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health record systems. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively Apply Job!
