Entry Level Technician

Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire Entry Level Technicians (1st or 2nd shift). These technicians are responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling components and equipment used in oilfield operations. OK Pay Rate: $18.00 or $20.00 hour (depending on shift) Schedule (choice of shift): • First Shift: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Pay rate is $18 per hour. • Second Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Pay rate is $20 per hour. Position type: Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period, depending on worker performance. Responsibilities: • Assemble components and equipment according to plans and technical specifications. • Use manual and power tools to perform assembly operations with precision. • Verify the conformity of parts and assemblies with established specifications and quality standards. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address assembly issues and propose improvements. • Follow safety procedures and work protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. • Participate in training new employees and in the continuous improvement of assembly processes. Requirements: • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the oilfield or manufacturing sector. • Ability to read and interpret technical plans and assembly diagrams. Proficiency in using manual and power tools for assembly. • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure assembly quality. • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly and effectively. • Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to safe work practices. • Flexibility to adapt to changes in priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment • Must be physically able to lift heavy items (may be up to 50 lbs.) above and below shoulder height, and perform continuous standing, walking, reaching, and bending • Must be able to stand for long periods to perform the work • This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement.
