Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Parcel Delivery Driver. This role is critical in delivering packages promptly and safely to our customers. Job Description:
As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up parcels on time while ensuring excellent customer service. Your role will also involve loading parcels into the delivery vehicle and ensuring they are correctly organized. You will ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and well maintained and adhere to all FedEx policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
– Safely and punctually delivering packages to customers
– Loading, unloading, preparing, and operating the delivery vehicle
– Following preplanned routes to minimize mileage
– Providing excellent customer service
– Adhering to FedEx safety policies and standards
Qualifications:
– A high school diploma or equivalent
– Must possess a valid driver’s license
– Must pass a background check and drug screen
– Must possess excellent navigational and customer service skills
– Must be able to lift and carry packages (up to 50 lbs.)
Experience:
No previous experience is required, as FedEx provides paid, comprehensive training to ensure you are fully equipped for the role. However, previous courier or delivery driver experience will be considered an advantage.
