Job Description:
As a FedEx SameDay Courier Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of packages to our customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting directly with our customers. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages within the same day, hence the quick turnaround is crucial to the role.
Responsibilities:
– Picking up and delivering packages to customers within the same day
– Checking shipments for any damage
– Operating vehicles safely and responsibly
– Providing excellent customer service to all FedEx customers
– Following all FedEx protocols and procedures
Requirements:
– Valid drivers license
– Clean driving record
– Must be able to lift heavy packages
– Excellent time management skills
– Outstanding customer service abilities
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
– High School Diploma/GED
– Previous courier or delivery experience
– Familiarity with local routes
