Job Description
Netflix is seeking a dedicated and experienced External Support Engineer to join our dynamic support team. As a part of the External Support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and superior support for our global customer base. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role
- Strong knowledge of networking, internet protocols, and cloud-based technologies
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to external customers via various communication channels
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Netflix streaming services
- Collaborating with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems
- Documenting and tracking customer issues using our support ticketing system
- Contributing to the development of support documentation and knowledge base articles
- Participating in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
