Description:
As a Box Truck Delivery Driver, you will be the face of UPS on the delivery route, ensuring our commitment to excellent customer service and safe, timely delivery. This role involves loading and unloading packages from our box trucks, verifying delivery details, and handling delivery documentation.
Responsibilities:
– Safe and timely delivery of packages
– Loading and unloading box trucks
– Verifying delivery details and handling delivery documentation
– Providing excellent customer service
– Following established safety procedures while operating the vehicle
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license
– Clean driving record
– Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs.)
– Familiarity with GPS devices or map reading
– Strong time management and customer service skills
Educational Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
– Previous experience in a delivery role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
