Job Description
UPS is seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Support Assistants. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch support and ensuring their inquiries and issues are resolved promptly.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding UPS services, policies, and procedures.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to provide consistent and high-quality customer service.
- Stay updated on UPS products, services, and system changes to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist with tracking and tracing packages, processing claims, and other customer service tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using computers and various software applications.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet work environment.
