Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our premises. You will be tasked with patrolling properties, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. You will be the first point of contact during any security-related incident and will be relied upon to respond in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities

– Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

– Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers.

– Control traffic by directing drivers and manage access control within premises.

– Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.

– Provide customer service by providing directions and information to visitors.

Requirements

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Must hold a valid security guard license.

– Minimum of 1-year experience in physical security or military service.

– Strong observation skills and detail-oriented.

– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

– Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
