They are responsible for updating the inventory count and ensuring that the appropriate amounts of products are maintained in stock and ready for distribution. Duties & Responsibilities: • Product Handling: Monitor inventory levels regularly to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid stockouts. • Order Fulfillment: Complete the process of order fulfillment with accuracy and thoroughness, utilizing electrical and manual pallet jacks to transport products as required. • Equipment Operation: Utilize heavy power equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. proficiently, with a high emphasis placed on safety. • Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspection and purification of warehouse machinery and working spaces to maintain a secure and sanitary milieu. • Restocking: The crucial task of restocking shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise to maintain and meet the organization's stock criteria. • Compliance: Consistent adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and procedures is key to ensuring compliance. Damage to products can be avoided with proper handling, and regulatory requirements must be met at all times. • General Duties: Help with a range of warehouse responsibilities, which may entail sporadic bending, kneeling, lifting items weighing over 50 pounds, and climbing as necessary. • Flexibility: Be ready to take on alternative positions when the need arises and support different assignments in the warehouse, production, and cooler service departments. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Aptitude to operate manual and powered pallet jacks and forklifts smoothly (certification enhancing expertise). • Exercising rigorous scrutiny of particulars and proficiency in following instructions. • Capability to perform physical chores, including lifting, bending, and scaling. • In this article, we provide practical safety tips that every worker should know to maintain warehouse safety standards. Minimum Qualifications: • The preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent GED. • Prospective employees should have a work history of no more than one year, and it would be advantageous if they have worked previously in a warehouse, production, or equipment service capacity. • Obtaining a forklift certification offers several benefits to an individual.
