Job Description

As a Data Entry Clerk (Typist) at UPS, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our databases and records. Your primary responsibility will be to enter, update, and maintain a variety of information in our systems. You will work independently and ensure that all data is entered accurately and promptly. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Since this is a fully remote position, having a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace is essential. In this part-time role, you will have the flexibility to choose your working hours, allowing you to manage your commitments while gaining valuable experience in data management. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure all information is current and accessible, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the company. Responsibilities • Input data into various software systems with high accuracy and efficiency. • Review and verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system. • Update records as needed and ensure that all files are organized and easily accessible. • Communicate with team members regularly to ensure data integrity and consistency. • Assist with data cleansing and ensure that all outdated or incorrect information is removed. • Generate reports as requested and analyze data for trends or errors. • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company information. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role. • Excellent typing skills (minimum 50 WPM) with high accuracy. • Familiarity with spreadsheets and data management software. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
