Senior Data Architect

As a Senior Data Architect at American Express, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of our data management solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating the technical vision for our data initiatives and ensuring our data is secure, reliable, and accessible.The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of... success in the data architecture field and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should have a deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a data architect or similar role, with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Expertise in data engineering, data modeling, and ETL development is a must. In addition, you should have experience with cloud computing, big data solutions, and data security tools. The ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams is also essential. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of data management solutions.
