As a Typist, you will be responsible for producing various documents, reports, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards. This role is ideal for someone with fast and accurate typing skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities • Efficiently type and format documents, reports, and correspondence. • Proofread and edit typed content for accuracy. • Ensure documents follow company formatting guidelines. • Enter and maintain data in software systems and databases. • Organize and manage digital files for easy retrieval. • Transcribe audio or video recordings into written text (if applicable). • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. • Collaborate with team members for timely task completion. • Maintain clear communication on progress and issues. • Handle confidential information with professionalism. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) or other word processing software. • Excellent typing speed (minimum of 50 WPM) with high accuracy. • Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread documents. • Good organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Prior experience as a typist or in a similar administrative role is a plus.
