Public Relations Specialist (Remote With Flexible Hours)

We are seeking a creative and motivated Public Relations Specialist to join our team and help elevate our brand presence. This role offers the opportunity to work mostly remotely, with the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively. Job Description: As a Public Relations Specialist, you will be client facing, and play a key role in shaping and promoting our client’s images through strategic communication and media relations. You will collaborate with teams to create and execute PR campaigns that resonate with the client's target audience and drive engagement. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to enhance brand visibility. • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials. • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for engagement. • Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and public appearances. • Assist in crisis communication management, when necessary. • Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in public relations or a similar role. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. • Proficiency in social media platforms and PR tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, etc.). • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects.
