IT Project Management Specialist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Management Specialist for our IT Governance Team to lead projects, procurement, budgeting, and change control. Responsibilities • Partner with management to deliver assigned tasks. • Guide and motivate the team to meet customer and department needs. • Share best practices within the IT Governance Team and department. • Identify cost-effective solutions by streamlining processes. • Recognize and implement alternative solutions for potential problems. • Gather, document, and obtain stakeholder approval for requirements. • Ensure agreed scope and timelines with stakeholders. • Develop and coordinate project schedules and resources. • Drive tasks to completion according to the project schedule. • Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks. • Serve as an escalation point for conflict and issue resolution. • Coordinate procurement activities with stakeholders. • Maintain communication and relationships with service providers. Qualifications • BA/BS in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. • 3-5 years of experience leading IT projects in a PMO environment. • PMP certification preferred. • Knowledge of manufacturing information systems and project methodologies. • Advanced skills with project management software and IT vendor management. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. • Experience with diverse and geographically dispersed teams. • Highly organized with attention to detail.
