The IBM Client Innovation Centre (CIC): Monroe occupies a unique position in the IT marketplace – at the intersection of business and technology. In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.? These delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. As a member of our team, you will help IBM clients solve some of their most challenging business problems, capitalize on market opportunities and achieve real value in today’s tough economy. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Candidates must: • Have an Associate’s Degree, College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree by date of employment • Be willing and able to live and work in Monroe, with some travel anticipated • Have a sense of urgency in satisfying project deliverables for client success Required Professional and Technical Expertise: • You have the ability to work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, code and/or test innovative applications, and/or support those applications for our highly valued customers • You are great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, and/or implementing solutions to technical issues • You have basic knowledge or hands on experience in coding with at least one of the following technology areas: C++, C, Java, JavaScript, Angular, React, Python, SQL, ASP .NET • You have an understanding of the software development life cycle • You have an understanding of software testing • Good communication skills Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise • Experience using and/or coding databases • Experience with writing and/or executing scripts • Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, React Apply Job!
