Our Gaming Club is designed to inspire young minds through the world of gaming, where they can learn valuable skills while having fun. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Gaming Club Instructor to join our team as an independent contractor. This role involves leading engaging online gaming sessions, teaching students about game mechanics, strategy, and teamwork, while creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Games Include: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Roblox & Socialize for Ages 13-18 Animal Crossing Fall Guys Genshin Impact Girls Minecraft Girls Overwatch Girls Roblox Minecraft on Bedrock Fortnite Roblox Horror Games Roblox Piggy Roblox, Adopt Me Roblox, Brookhaven Roblox, Murder Mystery • *Responsibilities:** -

Conduct Weekly Sessions:

Facilitate online gaming club sessions that are interactive and educational, typically 1 hour in length. -

Game Selection & Curriculum Development:

Choose age-appropriate games and develop lesson plans that promote teamwork, strategy, and critical thinking. -

Foster a Positive Environment:

Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where all students feel comfortable participating and sharing ideas. -

Encourage Teamwork & Collaboration:

Guide students in working together to achieve common goals within the games. -

Provide Feedback:

Offer constructive feedback and support to students, helping them improve their skills and knowledge. -

Engagement & Communication:

Maintain clear communication with students and parents regarding session schedules, content, and student progress. -

Stay Current:

Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in gaming and educational practices to enhance the learning experience. • *Qualifications:** -

Gaming Knowledge:

Strong understanding of various games and gaming platforms (e.g., PC, console, mobile). -

Teaching Experience:

Prior experience teaching or working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred. -

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with students of various ages. -

Passion for Gaming & Education:

A genuine enthusiasm for gaming and a desire to share that passion with students. -

Technical Proficiency:

Comfortable using online teaching platforms and tools (e.g., Zoom, Discord). -

Background Check:

Must be willing to undergo a background check as required by Outschool policies. • *Compensation:** This is an independent contractor position with competitive pay based on experience and session attendance.
