Part-Time Court Transcriptionist
Description I am a busy court reporter seeking a part-time typist who can transcribe court hearings from audio recordings. The hearings include both civil and criminal cases. Payment is made per page, and all necessary training will be provided. The ideal candidate must be able to type at least 70 words per minute. The workload can vary from 50 pages a month to over 1,000 pages per month, and the work is conducted from home. Transcripts should be produced in Word format. Familiarity with Express Scribe or other transcription software would be beneficial. I am looking for someone to fill the position of a typist who has been with me for over 10 years.
