This is an entry-level engineering position where you will be preparing detailed working diagrams for the Keymark aluminum extrusion facility in Lakeland, FL. These diagrams include dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information. You will need to be proficient in AutoCAD 2012 and up. The Mechanical Draftsperson role offers hourly compensation ranging between $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr, depending on your knowledge and experience level. We offer employees a full benefits package, including: • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance • 6 paid holidays • 1 floating holiday • 1-3 weeks paid vacation time off • 401(k) + company match • Supplemental coverages • Free life insurance Primary Scope of Responsibilities: • Draft profiles originating from customers. • Appropriately file and organize drawings and quotes for the customer. • Develop and utilize profile tolerances to meet industry standards and plant process capabilities. • Aide Quality Control with adjustments to existing profiles or revisions by die maker. • Communicate with corporate, extrusion, and die shop teams to forward die production and ordering effectively. • Communicate with customers regarding new quote requests, print approvals, and die records. • Assist with placing orders and file dies in the system. • Draft profiles of physical samples using calipers and protractors. • Assist the New York facility in drafting jobs. To be considered a qualified applicant you must have a working knowledge of the following: • Must be proficient in AutoCAD 2012 and up • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Follow written, visual, and verbal directions • Excellent communication skills • Attention to detail • Basic math functions • Set up viewports/scales • Familiar with x-refs, layers, polylines, tangent and intersecting points Skills and Aptitude: • Assist customers in designing prototype shapes • Resolve issues with mating dies ?About Keymark Corporation of Florida: We are the premier full-service aluminum extrusion company featuring in-house finishing capabilities, including anodizing, casting, extruding, extrusion die construction, painting (acrylic, kynar, & powder coating), thermal barrier, thermal strut, and custom packaging.
