Remote ESL Instructor | Teach English to Adult Learners

Job Overview We are looking for a passionate and committed ESL Instructor to provide remote instruction in English as a Second Language (ESL) at the Beginning or Intermediate levels. This pivotal role is essential in facilitating students' academic achievements and personal development through structured lessons, diligent record maintenance, and meaningful interactions. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of ESL learners. • Collaborate with the Student Retention & Basic Skills Specialist to ensure the comprehensive support of student requirements. • Maintain precise documentation of student progress, including assessments, subject improvements, and attendance. • Offer timely and constructive feedback on assignments. • Address student inquiries and questions via email or phone communication. • Create course outlines and syllabi in alignment with program objectives. • Assist students in identifying opportunities that correspond with their interests and career aspirations. • Cultivate an inclusive and respectful learning environment that prioritizes diversity and equity. Required Skills • Strong communication abilities with culturally diverse and at-risk populations. • Proficiency in MS Office, Zoom, and Learning Management Systems. • Demonstrated experience in teaching English Language Learners (ELLs). • Willingness to undergo training for additional teaching roles within the GED/ESL program. Qualifications • An associate's degree in adult education or a related discipline. • At least two (2) years of experience in teaching English Language Learners (ELLs).

Compensation
