About the position The Atacama Architect role at Cognizant involves designing and implementing robust data management solutions to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency. The architect will oversee the development of data quality frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with data governance policies. Responsibilities • Design and implement data management solutions to enhance data integrity. , • Oversee the development and maintenance of data quality frameworks using Ataccama. , • Provide technical expertise in Java and Python for scalable data processing applications. , • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. , • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards. , • Develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring systems. , • Conduct regular data quality assessments and identify areas for improvement. , • Implement best practices for data management and data quality assurance. , • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data quality and management practices. , • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business objectives. , • Participate in the evaluation and selection of data management tools and technologies. , • Document data management processes and procedures for future reference. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or equivalent. , • 11+ years of experience in data management and data quality. , • Strong background in Ataccama, Java, and Python. , • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Snowflake. , • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification is required. , • Proven track record of implementing data quality frameworks. , • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. , • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
