Job Details Are you an organized, detail-oriented administrative extraordinaire who thrives in a fast-paced environment with Loan Processing experience? Then come join our team! This position is responsible for independently managing the loan closing process from commitment letter to funding and booking of loan. Assist underwriters and other third parties in clearing pre-funding conditions that include modifying agreement and other related documents. Monitor construction loan advances and provide support to the commercial lenders in responding with various customer needs. Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Maintain the commercial backlog and funding report • Work with lenders, credit analysts, and borrowers to obtain documents required to underwrite and thereafter close loans. • Organize loan files, prepare and maintain needs lists, and follow up as required to ensure receipt of all necessary documentation. • Track for receipt of commitment letters and loan conditions. • Coordinate final preparation of loan documents and closing procedures with title officers and closing attorneys. Complete pre-closing quality control and funding checklist and loan setup sheet for booking. • Review residential appraisals for 1-4 family properties. • Monitor and complete HMDA and CRA tracking sheets. • Engage outside construction inspectors, set up construction files, title updates and monitor advances. • Monitor for receipt of appraisals, environmental reports, physical inspection reports, preliminary title reports, credit reports and other third party reports to ensure timely receipt. • Maintain a high level of quality control and adhere to State, Federal and Bank regulatory and Loan Policy requirements. Essential Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities • Thorough understanding of the entire loan process, all loan products and services. • Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and meet service level turn around deadlines. • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and third party vendors to exercise good judgement and solve problems independently. Able to navigate difficult conversations, including times of disagreement, to achieve a positive outcome. • Attention to detail and strong organization skills to prioritize workloads and maintain work flow. • High level of responsiveness to internal and external customers; willingness to go above and beyond to close the deal, taking extra steps if necessary to ensure completeness and a smooth process for all. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, internal software programs and processes. Education and Experience • High School diploma or GED required. • Minimum of two years loan processing experience with demonstrated knowledge of products, policy, procedures, and regulations. • Knowledge of loan origination systems • Understanding of and ability to apply Lean Management Principles Interested in hearing more?
