Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FLORIDA Mortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice on loan products, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of mortgage processes, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Duties • Evaluate clients' financial situations and provide tailored mortgage solutions. • Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation. • Conduct credit analysis to determine eligibility for various loan products. • Maintain thorough knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance throughout the lending process. • Utilize accounting software and tools such as Quicken for accurate loan processing. • Collaborate with escrow companies to facilitate smooth transactions. • Manage the loan origination process from initial application through closing. • Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience. • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and new loan products. Experience Candidates should have a background in banking or finance with experience in loan processing or origination. Proficiency in math and 10 key typing is essential for accuracy in documentation and calculations. Familiarity with escrow processes, credit analysis, and relevant software tools is highly desirable. A strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks are critical for success in this role.
