Medical Debt Collector Bi Lingual
Medical Business Bureau, LLC, a revenue cycle management firm, is seeking experienced medical debt collectors capable of handling a high call volume. While our corporate office is based in Park Ridge, IL, we currently offer the option of remote work from home, provided you have access to high-speed internet. We are specifically looking for full-time individuals, preferably bilingual, who can efficiently secure patient payments. Responsibilities: Contact consumers via telephone or in writing to collect delinquent medical bills assigned for collection. Communicate with patients or their designated representatives professionally to address and resolve any issues or concerns. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the medical collections industry and the handling of private health information. Maintain detailed and accurate records of communication history for assigned accounts, documenting information about consumers and collection efforts. Manage individual queues and work within a dialing system. Achieve a minimum of 150 calls handled per day. Qualifications and Skills: Prior experience in medical debt collection is valuable, with the ability to negotiate, analyze, and resolve problems effectively. Reliable, self-directed team player. The ability to work at a fast pace as well as type at least 40 WPM. Strong attention to detail and proficient PC skills such as Microsoft Office, collection software and MS Teams. Familiarity with City, State, and Federal laws governing the medical debt collection industry is a plus. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus. Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $31,200 to $37,440 depending on experience and qualifications. As well as a Commission Program.
