About the position Pulte Mortgage is seeking motivated individuals to join their Origination Mortgage Banking Trainee Program, starting on January 15th, 2025. This entry-level position is designed for those looking to build a long-term career in the mortgage industry, with a focus on sales, customer retention, and loan product selection. The program provides comprehensive training and support, including coverage of licensing costs and study materials, making it accessible even for those without prior mortgage experience. Responsibilities • Participate in a 12-15 week training program to learn about mortgage loan products and sales techniques. , • Negotiate rates and lock in mortgage loans for customers. , • Retain customers through exceptional service and support. , • Pass the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act test and obtain necessary state licenses. , • Implement process improvement ideas to enhance customer experience. Requirements • At least 1 year of work experience in a corporate office setting or relevant experience such as an internship or leadership position. , • Excellent sales and customer service skills. , • Strong negotiation and customer retention abilities. , • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to work with multiple computer screens. , • High school diploma or equivalent required. , • Ability to secure and maintain NMLS licensing. Nice-to-haves • Bilingual in Spanish and Mandarin highly preferred. , • Previous experience in the financial and/or mortgage industries preferred. , • Exceptional organizational skills and a self-driven mentality.
