AVP - Public Sector Payments Sales

U.S. Bank Corp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as AVP – Public Sector Payments Sales. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of success in the payments industry, and a commitment to driving results.The AVP – Public Sector Payments Sales will be responsible for growing revenue in the public sector payments vertical, as well as developing and executing strategies for new and existing clients. This individual will report directly to the VP – Payments and will be responsible for leading a team of account managers and sales professionals.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; 8+ years of experience in the payments industry; and a proven record of success in sales. Additionally, the successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and the ability to think strategically. Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue in the public sector payments vertical. Lead a team of account managers and sales professionals. Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for new business. Create and present effective sales presentations to potential and existing customers. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategy accordingly. Develop and monitor budgets for the public sector payments vertical. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
