Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records, including tracking and reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with periodic financial closings. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reports Reconcile accounts, such as bank statements and general ledgers Prepare and analyze the general ledgers for multiple companies Assist with budgeting and forecasting Provide support and guidance to other members of the finance team Support external auditors during annual audits Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations Advanced knowledge of accounting software and excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines CPA or similar certification a plus Sandridge Foods is located in Medina, Ohio and is a great place to work because we sincerely care about every employee, both personally and professionally.
