What you'll do: This position will meet routinely with the National Sales Manager and the Head of SBA to originate, develop, analyze, and provide applicant support through the various stages of the loan application stages. Responsibilities include: • As a national BDO, will work with fellow team members and applicants to gather the required SBA application package for initial documentation, eligibility, structure and sales analysis in accordance with SBA SOP eligibility guidelines and Bank’s Credit guidelines. • Prepares initial BDO Loan Summaries, Loan Proposals and assists in all application stages of the loan to ensure application packages are complete and adhere to SBA SOP and Bank policy guidelines with adequate documentation. • Works closely with credit underwriting to ensure application docs are in file. • Demonstrates compliance with SBA SOP requirements for structure and application packages. • Provides outstanding, clear, transparent, knowledgeable, and concise customer communication to all applicants. What you need: • Direct SBA Experience - 5+ years direct national SBA sales experience at a high volume top ranked national SBA Bank. • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or a minimum of ten years of direct related SBA sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proven individual SBA 7(a) production track record – Verifiable individual loan production in closed 7(a) loans the last two consecutive years. • Experience working on high volume SBA sales team working closely with all loan stage co-workers. • Looks for ways to improve and promote portfolio quality, application processes, team and customer experience; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
