Summary

The Manager Finance is responsible for the analytical review of all of the Finance and Accounting Support functions for a major field operation, including Inventory Management and Control Financial Analysis and Planning, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing. Will serve as the financial check and balance as Ryder makes customer commitments. Essential Functions • Analytical review/Corrective Action: 1. Review Financial and Operational results 2. Comparison of Actual results to Rated (contract), Plan and/or Forecast 3. Act as Financial Advisor to General Managers and teams • Financial Coordination of Contract: 1. Negotiations and New Account Startup 2. Match financial risks and rewards 3. Establish cost controls and billing procedures 4. Establish customer reporting processes • Financial Reporting: 1. Financial integrity of location results 2. Coordination between Headquarters and Field • Planning: 1. Monthly forecasting 2. Annual planning Additional Responsibilities • Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities • Demonstrates analytical skills. • Ability to build strong customer relationships. • Ability to lead/manage others. • Proven leadership skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices. • Candidate must have functional knowledge of the WMS systems based on the location; intermediate level required. • Must have a working understanding of the Supply Chain Management and logistics process; intermediate level required. • Advanced computer/spreadsheet knowledge (Excel)advanced required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required Accounting, Finance or Economics. • Master's Degree preferred In Business Administration (MBA) • Seven (07) years or more Managing Finance and Accounting (including Inventory Management and Control, Financial Analysis and Planning, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing) required. • Candidate must have functional knowledge of the WMS systems. intermediate required • Must have a working understanding of the Supply Chain Management and logistics process based on location; intermediate level required. • Advanced computer/spreadsheet knowledge (Excel) advanced level required. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) DOT Regulated No Job Category Financial Analysis

Compensation

Information: The compensationoffered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. Compensation ranges for the position are below: Pay Type: Salaried Minimum Pay Range: 115,000.00 Maximum Pay Range: 125,000.00 The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
