Job Description

Faculty are at the core of our student and institutional success. As Unitek Learning continues to grow its programs, faculty support and coaching will be a critical component of ensuring our students have an incredible learning experience. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Programmatic Trainer, focusing on healthcare education with an emphasis on nursing programs. The Programmatic Trainer will provide nurse educator-specific training for our nursing core curriculum and address specific regulatory training as needed. The Programmatic Trainer will also complete analyses and offer recommendations for continuous improvement working closely with institutional leaders. This position requires strong communication skills, comfort with technology, a deep understanding of pedagogy and instructional design principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and academic leadership. • Collaborate with faculty members and academic leadership to develop and deliver training programs that support the successful delivery and implementation of the curriculum for nursing programs. • Provide guidance and support to faculty members in understanding and effectively delivering course content, assignments, and assessments in accordance with program objectives and accreditation standards. • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance faculty members' knowledge and skills as they relate to nursing curriculum and student success. • Partner with various departments including instructional design, faculty development, academics, etc. to provide actionable feedback and work towards continuous improvement of the faculty and student experience. • Communicate areas of opportunity to academic leadership and collaborate on developing solutions/actions. • Work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure the alignment of training materials with program goals and objectives. • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement. • Stay current with trends and best practices in nursing education, online learning, and instructional technology. • Provide ongoing support and mentoring to faculty members, offering guidance and resources to promote student success and program excellence. • Conduct training on item analysis and assist faculty in identifying trends to inform continuous improvement efforts. • Elevate concerns and follow-up with faculty and faculty coaches to ensure faculty expectations are being met and students are being supported. • Identify faculty that are excelling and recognize those areas. • Promote community and develop rapport with faculty through regular engagement efforts. • Coach faculty on integrated technologies and instructional resources, and best practices for student support with those technologies. • Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the overall quality of academic programs. • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in higher education pedagogy and andragogy. • Design and deliver faculty workshops, training sessions, and develop resources to strengthen faculty effectiveness in the classroom. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of faculty programmatic training, feedback, and recommendations. • Other duties as assigned. Business needs may require this position to be a hybrid modality in the future Salary Starting at $75k DOE Qualifications • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as nursing, education, instructional design, or a related discipline. • Minimum of five years of previous experience in teaching or faculty support in higher education required. • Nursing background preferred. • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) required. • Strong understanding of pedagogical principles, instructional design models, and assessment strategies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to faculty members. • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members, academic administrators, and other stakeholders. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. • Commitment to promoting excellence in teaching and learning and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
