Home Infusion Registered Nurse - Accredo - Detroit or Flint, MI

About the position This position will cover the Detroit/Flint region, and outlying areas. The Home Infusion Registered Nurse will work 30 hours a week, primarily on weekdays during the day shift, with the possibility of on-call duties and holiday rotations. The role requires strong IV skills, including pediatric IVs, as the nurse will be responsible for administering intravenous medications to patients in their homes. You will take full ownership of the patient experience, traveling to their homes to administer IV infusion medications autonomously, while also providing response management and follow-up care. You will document all interactions and communications with patients, including assessments, treatments, responses, and disease progression, which is crucial for maintaining high standards of care. Requirements • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. , • Minimum 2 years of RN experience. , • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare. , • Strong IV insertion skills, including pediatric IVs. , • Valid driver's license. , • Willingness to travel within an assigned geographic area. , • Ability to work Monday-Friday, day shift, with occasional evening or weekend visits as needed. , • Flexibility to work alternate shifts on short notice.
