Hellenic Non-Profit Writer

We are a Greek nonprofit organization dedicated to help fund small business owners in Greece. Our goal is to inform, educate, and inspire action through compelling written content that highlights key issues in Greece, including economic, cultural, and societal topics. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate freelance writer to create engaging articles that align with our mission. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Greek society, history, and economy. While being Greek is not required, familiarity with Greece’s unique challenges and opportunities is a plus. Responsibilities: • Research and write high-quality articles on topics related to Greece’s economy, culture, history, and nonprofit sector. • Develop content that is informative, engaging, and aligned with our organization’s values and goals. • Collaborate with our team to generate story ideas and refine content direction. • Ensure accuracy and clarity while making complex topics accessible to a broad audience. • Meet deadlines and respond to feedback promptly. Qualifications: • Proven experience in journalism, blogging, content writing, or a related field. • Strong research and storytelling skills. • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Greek economic and social issues. • Ability to write in an engaging and accessible style. • Fluent in English (Greek language skills are a plus but not required).
