Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Shipping Manager to oversee the shipping operations for our food spice company. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics planning and coordination, ensuring that our products are shipped efficiently, safely, and on time to meet customer needs. This role requires a strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire shipping process, from order receipt to delivery of products.
• Plan and coordinate logistics for domestic and international shipments.
• Develop and implement efficient shipping strategies to minimize costs while maintaining delivery timelines.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, including negotiating rates and ensuring service quality.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure products are properly packed and shipped in compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor shipping schedules and resolve any delays or issues in the shipping process.
• Track and report on key performance metrics such as shipping costs, delivery time, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales and customer service to address any shipping-related concerns or inquiries.
• Supervise and train shipping team members to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and shipping documentation for food products, including customs clearance when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar logistics role, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping regulations, and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with shipping software and systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with food-grade products and understanding related regulations.
• Familiarity with international shipping and customs procedures.
