Shopify Admin (E-Commerce Manager & Developer) Location: 10771 Westpark Dr Houston TX 77042. We are conveniently located in the Westchase Business District area of Houston, Texas on Westpark dr, just outside the Sam Houston Tollway. Job Type: Full-time Job Description: The administrator's position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's website, including its design, content, functionality, and performance, ensuring a seamless user experience while aligning with business goals by managing website maintenance, updates, content creation, analytics monitoring, and technical troubleshooting to optimize online presence and achieve desired outcomes This Team Member will be responsible for maintaining a website as well as email campaigns. About Us: The largest tennis retailer in the country, Tennis Express, has been in business for more than 20 years servicing the tennis and pickleball community with all their hard good needs. We are looking for a skilled Shopify Admin to manage and optimize our Shopify store, ensuring smooth operations, technical enhancements, and overall growth. Job Responsibilities:
- Shopify Store Management: Oversee daily operations of the Shopify store, including product listings, inventory updates, and order processing.
- Liquid & JavaScript Development: Customize Shopify themes, implement new features, and optimize store performance using Liquid and JavaScript.
- SQL & Data Analysis (Bonus): Manage and analyze store data to improve decision-making and business performance.
- App & API Integrations: Work with third-party apps, Shopify APIs, and payment gateways to enhance store functionality.
- SEO Optimization: Improve store visibility through keyword research, metadata optimization, and site performance enhancements.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve issues related to UI/UX, performance, and integrations.
- A/B Testing & Conversion Optimization: Implement strategies to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores.
- Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, and some SQL for store customization and database queries.
- Strong understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem, including apps, APIs, and payment systems.
- Experience with Shopify Plus (preferred but not required).
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices (bonus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
PREFERRED SKILLS BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI
- Ability to manage a team
- Experience with Yotpo email marketing
