Job Summary Provides information, assistance, and service to customers. Assist in general stock duties, including processing and stocking of product, building, and filling displays and performing various customer service duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives, opens, and unpacks merchandise to replenish stock.
• Builds and fills displays.
• Maintains back-stock areas according to department standards. Assembles displays and maintains merchandise on shelves.
• Maintains friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, locating and promoting products and responding to complaints.
• Maintains clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures. Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Operates a cash register to correctly assist with customer purchases.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of cash register.
• Basic mathematical and counting skills.
• Ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners in written and verbal form.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
• Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age to operate and clean motorized equipment.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

• Frequently required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 40 lbs.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 75 lbs.
• Attendance at work is required.
