About the position We are currently seeking Health Insurance Agents to join our team for a full-time position at Healthie, LLC in Lake Worth, FL. This role is open to both licensed and unlicensed applicants, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter the health insurance field. As a Health Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls from potential clients seeking health insurance coverage. You will provide expert guidance and advice on the various health insurance options available, assisting clients in selecting the most suitable plans based on their individual needs. In this position, you will educate clients on the benefits and features of limited medical plans, ACA plans, and life insurance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is crucial to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. You will also need to stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in health insurance policies to provide the best service possible. The role requires a strong commitment, as you will be expected to work long hours and most Saturdays during the Open Enrollment period. A typical schedule will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturdays outside of Open Enrollment. This position offers the opportunity to build a book of business and unlock recurring revenue, along with a supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Responsibilities • Handle inbound/outbound calls from potential clients seeking health insurance coverage , • Provide expert guidance and advice on available health insurance options , • Assist clients in selecting the most suitable health insurance plans based on their needs , • Educate clients on the benefits and features of limited medical plans, ACA plans, and life insurance , • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention , • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in health insurance policies , • Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses , • Develop and maintain a client base through networking, referrals, and cold calling , • Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options , • Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients' needs and budgets , • Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and claims , • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions of insurance contracts Requirements • Proven experience as a Health Insurance Agent or similar role , • Strong sales and negotiation skills , • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , • Ability to work independently and as part of a team , • Willingness to work long hours and most Saturdays during Open Enrollment , • Availability for a 9-5 schedule with occasional Saturdays outside of Open Enrollment , • Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations , • Ability to analyze clients' needs and recommend suitable coverage options , • Proficient in using computer software for insurance quoting and policy management Nice-to-haves • Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish , • Familiarity with benefits administration and market trends is desirable Benefits • Opportunity to build a book of business and unlock recurring revenue , • Supportive and collaborative work environment , • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities , • Bonus opportunities , • Commission pay Apply Job!
