DESCRIPTION Amazon Robotics is scaling up a new foundational system which will transform warehouse robotics. The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help us deliver on this ambitious goal. The ideal candidate is excited to learn. They are passionate about building software that users love. They have solved complex problems and seen their solutions deployed at scale in live environments. They understand how to build systems comprised of services from multiple partner teams. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with React or a similar front-end library Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
