Responsibilities • Utilize mechanical design engineering skills to bring products to market. , • Negotiate and collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Industrial Design, Product Integrity, EE, Manufacturing, SW, and technology groups. , • Develop deep technical knowledge in areas outside your expertise to understand design constraints and craft creative solutions. , • Collaborate with outside vendors and internal manufacturing experts to optimize designs. , • Utilize 2D and 3D CAD to communicate design intent and inspection requirements. , • Ensure fit, form, and function throughout the product life cycle through stress and tolerance analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, and failure analysis. Requirements • Strong mechanical design engineering skills. , • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software. , • Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments. , • Technical knowledge in product design and manufacturing processes.
