Security Officer (Full-time and Valley Wide)

About the position MLG Security Protection Services is currently seeking motivated and responsible individuals for the position of LEVEL 3 (ARMED) Security Guards primarily in the La Feria and Brownsville areas, with additional opportunities in Mission, McAllen, Mercedes, San Benito, Weslaco, Edinburg, Pearland, Harlingen, and surrounding locations. This role is essential for maintaining safety and security at various job sites, and candidates can start working immediately upon hiring. The company provides on-site training to ensure that all guards are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge required for their specific job sites. We are looking for individuals who are willing to commit to at least 40 hours of work per week, with unlimited overtime opportunities available for those who wish to work more. Part-time positions are available but will be limited in number. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend open interviews at our office, where they can learn more about the position and the company. The work schedule includes various shifts, including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of working on weekends and holidays as needed. Responsibilities • Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. , • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons. , • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. , • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner. , • Prepare and submit reports on daily activities and incidents. , • Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety. , • Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment. Requirements • Valid Guard Card license is required. , • Experience in security, particularly as a LEVEL 3 security officer, is required. , • Ability to work at least 40 hours a week. , • Reliable transportation to job sites is necessary. , • Willingness to relocate to La Feria, TX, before starting work.
