Cold Storage Stand-Up Forklift Operator - Overnight & Weekend Days Available - Fort Worth, TX

Job Details: Job Description: Stand-Up Forklift Operator position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks: • Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include but are not limited to Warehouse or Shipping and Receiving. • Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. • Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. • Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. • Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand up lifts). • Must be able and willing to stand throughout 10-12-hour shifts. • Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc. Shift Schedule: • *Shift availability is determined by the business need at the time of offer** Weeknights - Monday to Thursday • B shift; (7 pm - 5 am) Weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday • C shift (6 am - 6 pm) • D shift (6 pm - 6 am) Starting pay rate: • *Candidates may be eligible for Attendance incentive and/or shift premium, depending on shift placement. ** • $22.15/hr Requirements: • Must have 1 year of stand-up forklift experience in the last 3 years listed in work history. • Cold Warehouse experience preferred. • Must be able to meet minimum productivity percentage. • Must be able to continuously case pick up to 40 lbs. • Must be willing to train for and pass forklift license training, as well as read and understand to operate RF equipment. • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends. • Must be willing to accept and carry through on request and directions given. • Must be willing to learn other duties. • This location is not considering prior Tyson Team members at this time.
