This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and help shape the future of our infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and coordination of utility systems. This role requires a deep understanding of surveying, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance. Responsibilities: Develop and implement utility plans for various projects, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct field surveys to gather data necessary for the planning and design of utility systems. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure utility plans are accurately integrated into project designs. Review and interpret utility maps, site plans, and engineering drawings. Ensure all utility planning activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on utility planning activities for both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in utility planning and surveying. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility planning or a related role, preferably in the engineering industry. Proficiency in surveying and utility planning software. Strong knowledge of utility systems, construction methods, and regulatory standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. A valid professional engineer or surveyor license is a plus.
