Apprentice Electrician

Job Title: Apprentice Electrician Location: Long Beach, CA Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, and eager-to-learn Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our experienced Electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced, professional electrical team while gaining hands-on experience in the field. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist Journeyman Electricians in installing electrical systems such as wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical fixtures. 2. Test electrical systems and circuits using appropriate tools and equipment. 3. Perform routine maintenance tasks under the supervision of skilled electricians. 4. Comply with all safety procedures and regulations at all times. 5. Aid in troubleshooting of electrical issues in a variety of settings. 6. Learn and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. 7. Participate in ongoing education and training sessions. 8. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications and Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Current enrollment or completion of a certified Electrician apprenticeship program. 3. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety procedures. 4. Strong problem-solving and physical skills. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. 7. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 8. Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and tools. 9. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if required. 10. Able to work in various weather and environmental conditions. Preferred: 1. Prior experience in an electrical or construction-related field. Note: This job requires physical strength, hand-eye coordination, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to concentrate on detailed tasks. The job can also involve working in cramped spaces, heights, as well as lifting heavy equipment or tools.
